interactIVe at the 19th ITS World Congress in Vienna

interactIVe together with the European research projects MiniFaros and 2WIDES-SENSE held a special session at the 19th ITS World Congress. Under the title "Advanced integrated safety applications based on enhanced perception, active intervention and new advanced sensors" the following subjects were presented and discussed:

  • interactIVe results relevant to the subject vehicle's  perception of its immediate environment
  • Information Warning and Intervention (IWI) strategies and their applications
  • Innovative low-cost, low power miniature laser scanner developed within Minifaros
  • Cost effective multi-spectral, multifunctional, application-independent wide dynamic range camera, developed within 2WIDE-SENSE.

The session took place on Friday, 26th of October 2012, from 09:00-10:30 (SIS76) in Lehar 2 Room.

Additionally, the following interactIVe papers were accepted and presented during the interactive and technical sessions of the 19th ITS World Congress:

  • �Implementation of a co-driver for continuous Support�, was presented on Thursday, 25 October 2012, 9.00-10.30, during the  IS04 - Integrated safety and security (Strauss 1 Room) by Mauro Da Lio (University of Trento).

  • �Safety assessment methodology in interactIVe�, was presented on Thursday, 25 October 2012, 17.45-19.00, during the TS097 - Driver assistance & support systems (3) (Schubert 4 Room) by Felix Fahrenkrog, (IKA).
